The Evolution Of White Rappers In Hip Hop began in New York City around 1981, when the Beastie Boys group was formed. The group included Mike Diamond (Mike D), Adam Yauch (MCA), and Adam Horovitz (Ad-Rock), which where originally members of the group Young Aborigines' a rock band. After getting a taste of success from the single "Cooky Puss" the Beastie Boys decided to transition into a hip hop group and the rest is history. The release of the "Licensed To Ill" was a turning point for the group, they become hip hop super stars. The Beastie Boys have sold over 10 million records in the United states, and have seven platinum albums. They are still known for the best selling rap group since the Billboard first started keeping track of sales. 

The beastie boys paved the way for White Rappers. Before the Beastie Boys came on the scene it was unheard of for a white person to be called a rapper. Yes, there where white people that could rap all over America, but even the idea of "The Evolution Of White Rappers In Hip Hop" was unheard of in the 80's. Since then White rappers have become apart of hip hop and there are tons with talent.

Although their are many talented rappers, Only I handful will be mentioned in the list below. Keep in mind that the list is not rating who is the best white rapper of all time. The list simply is giving props to a small fraction of white hip hop stars.

It is estimated that he has sold of 200 million albums and counting. But before we talked about Eminem the Rap Legend, lets give a history lesson about Marshall who he was before becoming a star. He was born in Missouri and spent a lot of time in Detroit. Eminem grew up in a rough area where him and his family where the minority in the neighborhood, it is rumored that he was bullied. Eminem storytelling since he was a child, he once wanted to be a comic book writer before be introduced to hip hop. Through all the adversities of growing up poor and having a rough life he managed to use his experiences in his music. Now some people believe that he is the greatest rapper of all time. 
• Mac Miller - Malcom James McCormick was a rapper and producer from

• Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He started rapping around the age of 14 in 2007. He signed his first deal 3 years later in 2010 with Rostrum Records and release some a dope mixtape "Mixtapes K.I.D.S. He was in the beginning phase of his career when he overdosed on pills and died. He did not reached his full potential. Even though, his music career was short, he still had a major impact on the hip hop community. 
• Yela Wolf - Michael Wayne Atha is what is on his birth certificate. Born in

• Alabama and raised in Tennessee. He started our as an independent artist, and released his on mix taped. His hard work paid off and he eventually got a deal with Interscope which released his first mainstream album "Trunk Muzik". Sometime after leaving Interscope he signed a record deal with the greatest rapper of all time Eminem's Shady Records. The change of record labels propelled his music career. Under Shady Records he recorded several popular albums like, Love Story, Ghetto Cowboy, and Trial by Fire.

Post Malone Is known for his song White Iverson and many more hits that

can be considered trendy. He is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. Malone gained his recognition in 2015, after the release of his first single ‘White Iverson’. He landed a record deal with Republic Records, followed on to the release of ‘Congratulations’. The track reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100.

• NF Since 28-year-old Michigan rapper NF signed to Capitol Christian

• Music Group in 2014, he’s enjoyed massive success across the globe. His first release with the label, the eponymously titled EP, NF, charted at number 15 on the Top Rap Albums, while subsequent releases have gone on to even bigger and better things. His 2017 album Perception went in straight at number 1 on the Billboard chart, while the third single from the album “Let you Down” achieved international success and went on to be certified triple platinum in the United States.
• Iggy Azalea  Australian rapper that moved to United States when she was

a teenager. She followed her dreams of becoming a hip-hop singer and rapper and was actually successful. Her song "Two Times" have quickly rose to popularity when it was released on YouTube. After building a fan base and becoming popular among the YouTube community she landed a , a recording contract with Grand Hustle. After a short time with Grand Hustle she departed from the label and became an independent artist. Grand Hustle is a record label founded by another legend rapper, T.I. Her albums and singles have topped many Billboard charts over the years, with 47 million copies sold across the globe, 22 million in the United States alone. The success of her songs which are streamed on many media platforms such as YouTube and TikTok have made her one of the most promising white female rappers

• Machine Gun Kelly - Has on of the biggest fallings of a white rapper. His

• style is unique. His raps are influenced by the rap culture and the rock culture. He brings a high strung style of rap that is full of energy to the table 

Thanks to the evolution of white rappers in hip hop, white kids can grow up to be rap artist if they have what it takes, but remember the hip hop community is critical so if you have thin skin, and are not committed to working hard and making sacrifices do not bother picking up the mike.

Long ago in 1973 A young teenager Jamaican American from South Bronx discovered a new technique that would be used around the world. DJ Kool Herc Changed the sound of music by using turntables and mixing music. The style of music spread across the black community and was used at almost every house party in America. Later rap and hip hop was born when black young men and women started free styling over the beats. 

Young black men and women rapped about their life experiences growing up in the projects. It was a form of expression. Rappers told vivid stories about how they grew up. It was a way to release the the frustration and pains that life can cause. A lot of black Americans were able to use rap to change their life for the better. Once the record companies realized that hip hop would be an international movement they started giving out record deals. At the time rap was born white Americans were not interest in anything from the hip hop they wanted nothing to do with it. Most white parents did not want their kids to be involved with anything from the projects. A lot of white Americans called it jungle music, and they associated hip hop with violence and hatred. Hip hip originally was about expression and story telling hip hip was the mom and rap was the baby that was born from the minds of beautiful young black kids from the ghetto.  So at the time any one that knew the history of hip hop would laugh at the idea of The Evolution Of White Rappers In Hip Hop.

Hip hop Generates more than 20 billion a year, It is one of the most consumed genres. Artist like drake has songs with over 100 million streams in one day. Hip hop is expected to bring in more than 120 billion a year by 2030. Who would have guessed that hip hop would spread across the world and become the most popular genre on the planet. Hip hop has deep roots in the the Afro- American Culture, but they are not fully benefiting from the lucrative business. A lot of rap deals that are given are bad deals. There are some rappers that are broke because they signed bad deals. The white corporations and with a few black owned record labels are getting rich off the black music culture. Most of the Major record labels are owned by people that are not of African decent. Why is it that Hip hip a predominantly black genre that brings in billions of dollars a year is not helping the black community? Lets understand how awkward it was to hear about a white man named Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem being one of the greatest rappers of all time.
